Mobile Troubleshooting Methods

 iOS:

If you are having trouble using B/R with your iOS device, please try the following:

Force Close B/R app

Force closing an app allows you to re-launch an app when it becomes unresponsive and therefore allows you to continue using the app.

To force close the B/R app on your iPhone, please do the following:

• From your phone's home screen:
  • home button: double tap on the Home button
  • touch screen: swipe up from the bottom of your screen
• Swipe Apps upward to close.
• Tap the Home button to return to the home screen.

Clear your cache in the B/R app 

To clear your cache in the B/R app, follow these steps:

• Open the B/R app on your device.
• Tap the person icon (profile) at the bottom of the screen.
• Tap the gear icon (settings) in the upper right corner.
• Scroll to the bottom the settings menu and tap 'Clear Cache'. 

Update the B/R app

Keeping the app updated gives you access to the latest features and improves app security and stability.

To download the update:

• On your home screen, tap the iTunes app store icon.
• Tap the updates icon at the lower right portion of the screen.
• Tap the update button on the B/R app.
• Wait until the update is finished then relaunch the B/R app.

Android:

Force Close B/R app

Force closing an app allows you to re-launch an app when it becomes unresponsive and therefore, allows you to continue using the app.

Follow these steps to force close the B/R app on your Android device:

• On your device's home screen, tap Settings.
• Go to your device's Apps or Application Manager.
• Under the Downloaded tab, tap the B/R app.
• Under App info, tap Force Stop.
• A pop-up box will appear. Tap OK to proceed with force stopping the app.
• Go to your home screen and re-launch the app.

Updating B/R App

Keeping apps updated gives you access to the latest features and improves app security and stability.

Follow these steps to download the update for your B/R app:

• On your device's home screen, tap Play Store.
• Tap the Menu icon on the upper left corner of the screen.
• Tap My Apps & Games.
• Tap the B/R app to view the info page.
• Tap Update.
• Tap Accept to proceed with the Update.

Clearing cache and/or data on B/R app

Clearing the app cache and data let you free some space on your device's memory. This also allows your device to run the app smoothly.

Follow these steps to clear the app cache on your device:

• On your device's home screen, tap Settings.
• Go to your device's Apps or Application Manager.
• Under the Downloaded tab, tap the B/R app.
• Under App info, tap Clear Cache.

Clearing cache on B/R app for Android TV

• On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
• Select Settings.
• Under TV category, select Apps.
• Under System apps, select your preferred app.
• Select Clear cache and select "ok".
